Understanding the Scope: Coaching vs. Other Professional Services (Our Boundaries):
It is important to understand the distinctions between executive coaching and other professional services:
Coaching is Not Therapy or Medical Advice: Coaching services do not include the provision of medical advice, mental health therapy, or the diagnosis/treatment of any mental or physical health conditions. If issues arise that may benefit from such professional support, I will recommend that you seek assistance from a qualified licensed therapist or medical professional.
Coaching is Not Financial or Legal Advice: Coaching services do not constitute financial investment advice, financial planning, or legal counsel. For these matters, you should consult with appropriately licensed and qualified professionals.
Coaching is Not Consulting: Coaching services are focused on your personal and professional development, empowering you to discover your own insights, solutions, and paths forward. This is distinct from consulting, which typically involves a professional analyzing specific business challenges for you and providing direct, expert solutions or strategies for the business itself. My coaching role is to help you develop, not to solve your business's operational problems directly.
Coaching Modalities:
Coaching sessions are primarily offered through:
In-person meetings (preferred, particularly for active sessions).
Video conferencing sessions.
Suggested reading, listening, or interactive coursework and written or narrated exercises to be completed between sessions.
